The press conference of organizational committee of the Union of townspeople “Home city Dnepropetrovsk” took place in the city of Dnepropetrovsk.
The Head of Dnepropetrovsk Municipal Public Organization “Home city Dnepropetrovsk” Valeriy Belous,  co-chairman of the Public Organization “Association of consumers protection” Pavel Khobot and others took part in the press conference. 
The Union of townspeople “Home city Dnepropetrovsk” is an open and voluntary organization independent of someone’s political or commercial interests. The main tasks of the Union of townspeople “Home city Dnepropetrovsk” are:
- to return the right and opportunity to manage their city.
- to defend their interests in the face of authorities of any level.
- to inspect the municipal authorities work and put it under the townspeople control. 
- to cooperate with complex solving the city’s problems according to the accurate plan.
- to return high national status and authority to Dnepropetrovsk city lost for the last years.
