Hacker fighting department
The Cybercrime Control Department was established at Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. This is stated in the press-service of Ministry of Internal Affairs.
New unit set tasks for the formulation and implementation of state policy in this area of law enforcement, generation guidelines to offenses such category, the organization of international cooperation in cases of computer offenses, development and introduction of appropriate changes in existing legislation.
In addition, the responsibilities of this department is to identify and document the organized groups of transnational and regional nature, whose members specialize in crimes committed by the use of high technology and telecommunications systems.
